The most usual way cracked programs need to be installed, is by a key generator and an alternative executable file. In that case, the process goes as follows.
Run the program. When the installation wizard asks you to enter the serial key, open the key generator and run it. The key generator will give you a serial key that you can copy and paste into the installation wizard. Once that is done, you can install the program as normal.
Upon running, however, the program will probably say that you either need a DVD to play, or that the registration key couldn’t be confirmed. In that case, you take the alternative executable file ([program].exe), go to the folder where you have installed the program, replace the [program].exe there with the alternative [program].exe and then run the alternative [program].exe.
